We have an excellent audiology department at Sunderland Royal hospital for people with learning disabilities who are not able to get their hearing tested in the community.

Audiology have worked closely with learning disabilities services to ensure they offer a first class service.

It is very common to have a hearing loss in people with a learning disability, often as many as 4 in 10 people have some hearing loss.
